Although the benefits of using ultrasound for central line placement are clear, it's not a widespread practise. If you are interested in learning if and how the ultraStand can improve the use of ultrasound for line placement, this study proposal could be the start of your study design.

Preliminary results show that the ultraStand has a positive contribution to making central-line placements easier & faster, but also easier to learn and easier to perform solo.
