Tips for using the ultraStand - Suggested clinical protocols
  1. Locate ultrasound machine and ultraStand at bedside. Set comfortable working height with required controls in reach (i.e. image capture, depth, probe, ultraStand probe holder, bed height adjustment). Fig 1 - SOLO: same side as operator Fig 2 - w/ assistant: opposite side as operator
  2. Position patient on bed
  3. Pre-scan patient with free hand probe (not in ultraStand yet)
  4. Position ultraStand above patient (as pictured below)

  5. Insert probe into ultraStand probe holder facing up. Secure with Velcro strap. Dispense gel onto probe. (as shown below)

  6. Continue on to Section 2: Create Sterile Field
