VIDEO Nerve Block using the ultraStand

This 6 minute video depicts a sample setup for an interscalene nerve block using a cart-based ultrasound machine and ultraStand located on the opposite side of the bed from the operator.

Other setup variations are equally beneficial and you should choose what is intuitive and comfortable for your setting and needs. Some people prefer to have the ultrasound machine on the same side of the bed as they are during the procedure to have access to controls such as image depth, capture, doppler, etc. Other people prefer to place the ultraStand at the head of the bed using one of the floor-standing models available.

Take a look and see for yourself how you can perform solo ultrasound-guided nerve blocks using the ultraStand.
